The Author wsa invited to Ospedaletto d'Alpinolo, the focus of his book, where the town's mayor has bestowwed on Eric Lamet the town's honorary citizenship.

It was a memorable and most nostalgic day. In addition to the village peple who lived there at the time of Eric's internment, many of his friends from Naples, Milan and Palermo came also. Eric translated and discussed the book and the period of his internment and as a gift to the town he performed a program of Neapolitan songs.
